Vitamin C  deficiency

download.jpg

Vitamin C deficiency, also known as scurvy, is caused by insufficient intake of fruits and vegetables. Symptoms include fatigue, weakened immunity, slow wound healing, and gum disease. To combat this deficiency, consuming vitamin C-rich foods like citrus fruits (oranges, lemons), strawberries, bell peppers, and broccoli is essential. Since the body doesn’t store vitamin C, it’s important to consume it regularly. In cases of severe deficiency, vitamin C supplements can help restore normal levels.
